About STARTER

Founded in 1970, STARTER is the French specialist in winches and special handling systems.

With 100 employees, STARTER puts its expertise in engineering, production and integration of handling systems and winches at the service of large companies in the energy sectors and the maritime industry, car manufacturers, industrial bodybuilders and players in the defense sector around the world.

Recognized for their ability to manage projects and complex specifications in an international environment, our engineers apply a quality and cost optimization approach in all their activities, which is the basis of STARTER's culture of progress.

Our head office as well as our production site are located in Saint Ouen l´Aumône (Val-D’oise).

STARTER belongs to the STARTER Group, which brings together French specialists in winches, special handling systems (STARTER), tow trucks equipment (EQUIP’MEN) and equipment for offroad vehicles (OUTBACK IMPORT).
